The Benedictine monks of Buckfast welcome visitors to their famous Abbey, set in the beautiful valley of the River Dart on the edge of Dartmoor. Benedictine monks have always made visitors welcome, and recent developments at Buckfast have improved the facilities for the many thousands of people who came to the Abbey each year. Visitors can enjoy enthralling and intriguing exhibits and multi media displays, as Grange Restaurant which offers an array of superb refreshments from cream teas to formal dinners. There is also several small shops selling both gifts and produce from the Abbeys gardens and the world famous Buckfast bee.
