Postbridge Clapper Bridge - Dartmoor
Description: The well known clapper bridge in Postbridge where it traverses the East Dart river.
It is thought the word 'clapper' derives from an Anglo-Saxon word, 'cleaca', meaning 'bridging the stepping stones'.
