Betsy Grimbal's Tower - Tavistock Abbey

Betsy Grimbal's Tower - Tavistock Abbey
Description:
One of the few remaining remnants of the 10th century Tavistock Abbey is the curiously named Betsy Grimbal's Tower.
Located in the gardens of the vicarage the gatehouse may have derived its name from an unfortunate young lady murdered by a jealous monk.
