Beaches for relaxing on and surfing at are to found at Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay, all of which are within easy reach, as is Bude, the coastal pathways around Hartland Point and the market town of Bideford with boat trips to Lundy, England’s only marine nature reserve. To the north lies Exmoor National Park: a beautiful setting for the resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, with its wild landscapes and stunning coastline. Family attractions such as Big Sheep and Milky Way, RHS Rosemoor and Atlantic Village shopping outlet are nearby; to the south lies the rugged Dartmoor National Park. Eden Project, 1 hour’s drive. Hartland, 4 miles, has sea angling, riding and golf. Guests have free access to the two onsite fishing lakes well stocked with bream, carp, rudd and tench. This is a rural location and there are no on-site facilties, but a Shop/PO, fish and chip shop, and pub serving food are to be found at Woolsery, some 2 miles away.
