Glebe House

Glebe House

"Home from home" bed and breakfast accommodation in the oldest dwelling in the ancient settlement of Kingsnympton, North Devon.

Kingsnympton is an ancient village settlement within easy reach of Dartmoor, Exmoor and the North Devon Coast. It is wonderfully tranquil ,there is very little traffic since the village is not on the way to anywhere!

Glebe House is only a few minutes walk from the fine cuisine of the award winning Grove Inn. There is a local Riding School and Golf Course. The local market town of South Molton is five miles away and one can be in the busy, regional centre of Barnstaple within twenty minutes.

Kingsympton is easily reached by car. If coming by train (Kingsnympton and Eggesford railway stations ) a pick-up can be arranged.

Glebe House itself is thought to be the oldest dwelling in Kingsnympton. The author of "Lorna Doone" lived in Glebe House during his early childhood (1825 -1832).

There is a large "wild" garden for residents to use and plenty of safe parking space.

The room are very comfortable and the breakfasts are famous!
