The diminutive sandstone church of St Mary's Step framed between Tudor houses in Exeter city centre.
The site was originally next to the main west gate into the city.
St Mary Steps Church was originally built around 1150 but rebuilt in the 15th century.
The church is perhaps best known for the Matthew the Miller Clock. Made in 1621 by the Exeter craftsman Matthew Hoppin it features designs representing the 4 seasons
