The 17th century Jacobean almshouses in Moretonhampstead. The date on the building reads 1637, although it has been suggested this was the date of an early refurbishment.
The almshouses were bought by the town in the 1930's after they fell into disrepair and were earmarked for demolition.
They are now owned by the National Trust
